The classification is based on the International Standard Industrial Classification of all Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 4, prepared by the. United Nation’s Statistics Division. Its purpose is to establish a single coding system for the different industrial activities worldwide.
It is based on a system of codes and subcodes for each type of industrial activity until all the different activities have been covered.
